Peace Fund Radio #168

Adrian Paul and Ethan Dettenmaier kick off the hour with stories from Ethan’s audio book FAIL FAST (with Disney Imagineer Bob Gurr) as we highlight Disney’s commitment to literacy via music, movies, and magic. Learn about Disney’s partnership with First Book, and get the latest news about the triumphant return of the Peace Fund’s Interactive Storytelling Program!

And in my Hero of the Week segment, learn why Patrick McClung volunteers at his local soup kitchen, delivers vital survival items to Anchorage’s homeless population, and educates his fellow Alaskans about how they can help, too… at the age of 3. (ABC, KTVA)

Peace Fund Radio #167

Adrian Paul and Ethan Dettenmaier and I highlight how Hope for Henry, Tiny Superheroes, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and The Dream Factory fulfill the wishes that bring hope, happiness, and empowerment to hospitalized children and their families!

We also remember the late, great Lenny Robinson, a real-life Bruce Wayne who used his fortune to visit and inspire hospitalized kids as the “Baltimore Batman.”

And in our Hero of the Week segment, learn how Thailand’s Yada Pruksachatkun turned an impromptu summer day dance class into an ongoing Light Footsteps Initiative to match children in hospitals with mentors who help them bring their hobbies and interests to life!
