Video: Norton, Tyler and Letterier talk Hulk!

YES! Here are four awesome videos of a fun, funny, delightfully informal discussion between actors Ed Norton and Liv Tyler and director Louis Letterier about their work on The Incredible Hulk, which we’re all going to see this weekend, right?

Ed is thoughtful and humble (and talks about Bill Bixby), Liv’s adorable and vibrant (and talks like an Ewok at one point), and Louis is clearly having the time of his life.

If you’re at all excited about this movie, please watch these.

Chockablock Watch 2008

Kids, we’ve got a situation on our hands.

The word “chockablock” is making a comeback.

If you’ll take a look at the previous post about the Hulk premiere, you’ll see that Tim Blake Nelson used it in one of the videos.

Just days before this, Harrison Ford got all chockablocky about the Jack Ryan franchise over at CHUD:

Ford Says “Cracking,” “Chockablock” Whilst Discussing Jack Ryan Revival

I mean, check out this quote:

“[Jack Ryan’s] a character that I think you could revisit acknowledging the passage of time and his increasing age. It wasn’t age dependent; that character and his experiences were chockablock full of recipes for ripping good yarns, so that’s a character I wouldn’t mind revisiting.”

“Chockablock full of recipes for ripping good yarns.”

Amazing.

Why don’t I say things like that?

Probably because, until this week, I had never heard the word “chockablock” before, and now some of Hollywood’s best actors can’t stop using it.

Who will be next?

I vow to you, my Loyal Readers, that I will seek out and post all uses of “chockablock” in the mainstream and entertainment media.

And then I’ll figure out what it means.

More to come.

And I need your help on this.

So feel free to keep your eyes and ears open, too, if you’d like.

Hulk premiere photos are popping up all over

The Incredible Hulk smashes the theater near you and me this Friday, but the official premiere happened this weekend.

I love this photo:

Yes!

Ed Norton, who wrote the film and plays Bruce Banner, Lou Ferrigno, who was the original TV Hulk and who voices the Hulk in the new movie, and Stan Lee, the Marvel mastermind who was one of the Hulk’s original creators.

Brilliant.

There’s a video clip here from Entertainment Tonight with some quotes from the stars.

Liv Tyler admits to being “a bit of a nerd, actually.”

Delicious.

There are also good bits from Tim Roth and Tim Blake Nelson, who play Emil Blonsky (who becomes the monstrous Abomination) and Dr. Samuel Sterns, respectively.

And Tim Blake Nelson uses the word “chockablock,” which totally rocks.

And Lou Ferrigno talks about how it goes back to the TV show, and Stan Lee gets all excited about how lucky Marvel is to have guys like Robert Downey, Jr. and Ed Norton playing their heroes.

Meanwhile, IESB has an exclusive gallery of photos from the premiere right here.

And here’s another video from Access Hollywood, which is way better than Entertainment Tonight’s, actually. Stan Lee, you rascal!

Friday! Friday! Friday!
