The build to that final shot of Lois looking over his shoulder as he zooms away with her is breathtaking, isn’t it?

Rest in peace, Ray Harryhausen, who lived his life hand-crafting imagination into magic.
(The family’s obituary for Mr. Harryhausen can be read here.)
MAN OF STEEL’s third trailer is beyond words …
… but I’ll try to assemble a few, because that’s what Clark Kent would do.
Henry Cavill’s Superman is regal and rugged. He’s utterly charming in his smoldering chemistry with Amy Adams, whose Lois oozes all the confidence and curiosity of an ace reporter.
Michael Shannon’s Zod is wicked, warped, and wild with rage.
Every word spoken by Russell Crowe and Kevin Costner goes straight to the heart. The dialogue is poetry.
And, finally, Hans Zimmer’s score is breathtaking (which it should be, because having to follow John Williams is just as daunting as it must have been for Cavill to follow Christopher Reeve).
I’m still in tears. In the words of Superman, what do you think?
