On this week’s episode, Peace Fund founder Adrian Paul and co-host Ethan Dettenmaier talk about the challenges facing children born with hearing loss and the steps parents should take to protect their kids’ ears from noisy toys and electronics. They also share what organizations such as The Starkey Hearing Foundation and The Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss are doing to help.

And then I pop in to tell the story of our Hero of the Week, Anthony Smith, who became a Marvel superhero at age 4 and later got his own suit of Iron Man armor by bolstering awareness and therefore acceptance for other children with hearing issues by inspiring Marvel to create an educational campaign that’s made its way into hundreds of medical offices across the United States!
